You may need to prove your English when applying for a visa.
You can prove your English with one of the following:
- Pass a certified English language test with a minimum level of CEFR and A1 in speaking and listening skills.
- Have an academic degree taught in English and offered by UK NARIC equivalent to a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in the UK.
Exceptions
If your nationality is from the following countries, you do not need to prove your English:
