Skilled workforce

Immigrating to Newfoundland and Labrador has an NLNP Skilled Workforce Program that welcomes experienced workforce at all NOC skill levels with a guaranteed job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer to apply for a provincial nominee. An applicant for immigration to Newfoundland and Labrador must have a set of specialized skills that meet the needs of the employer and thus be able to receive a full-time job offer.

International graduates

Eligible graduates from institutions who decide to stay in Canada for a graduate work permit may be eligible to immigrate to Newfoundland and Labrador to enter the NLNP International Graduate Program. Graduates must either be currently employed or have received a job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer in their field of study.

Atlantic Migration Trial Program

Newfoundland and Labrador participate in the Atlantic Migration Pilot Program (AIPP).
AIPPis an economic growth initiative created in collaboration with the federal government and the Atlantic provinces of Canada. AIPP simplifies the migration process for newcomers who have received a job offer from a specific employer in the Atlantic.
